New Delhi: All guests and devotees who will be present at the grand consecration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 will be treated to ‘Srivari laddu’, the prasadam offered to Lord Venkateshwara in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the trust which manages the world-renowned Lord Venkateswara temple, has announced that it will distribute 1 lakh Srivari laddus prasadam during the inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandir.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath headline the list of special invitees who will attend the mega ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event.
Politicians, Bollywood stars, celebrity cricketers, top sportspersons, industrialists and others are among 7,000 people on the invitee list of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, the temple trust.
“We have decided to distribute one lakh 25-gram laddus as a goodwill gesture to the devotees and VVIPs at the Ayodhya event,” TTD executive officer AV Dharma Reddy said at a press conference in Tirumala.
“The consecration ceremony is a historic moment for all followers of Sanatana Dharma. As TTD’s primary objective is propagation of Hindu religion, culture and values, we are honoured to have the opportunity to participate in the Ram Janmabhoomi pooja,” Reddy said.
