Bhubaneswar: Eleven shops were reduced to ashes in a major fire, which broke out at the vending zone near Kalinga Stadium in Odisha capital early on Wednesday.
According to sources, the fire broke out at around 4 am and engulfed the shops. Properties worth lakhs of rupees were gutted.
On being informed, Fire Service personnel rushed to the spot and doused the flames. Though it appears to be a short circuit the actual reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.
