Bhubaneswar: At least 12 labourers including three women were injured when a city bus in which they were travelling overturned near Sishupalagarh on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, a City Ride bus carrying more than 20 daily wage labourers including eight women was on the way to Pipili from Sikharchandi via Hansapal bypass when the front tyre of the bus suddenly burst. The diver could not bring the vehicle under control as it collided with the divider and overturned, injuring 12 labourers.
The mishap took place within half km from Sishupalgarh at about 9.15 am.
Following information, police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to a nearby private hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.
