Paradip: At least 12 people were detained on suspicion of being Bangladeshi nationals by the police in Odisha’s Paradip on Thursday.
According to sources, these people arrived at Paradip on a bus from Babughat in Kolkata today morning. The locals spotted them and informed the police after suspecting their activities.
The Model police here is probing whether the passengers belong to West Bengal or have infiltrated from the neighbouring country.
