Puri: The Phase II COVID-19 test, ahead of Bahuda Yatra of Lord Jagannath in Puri, saw 12 persons testing positive for the virus.
The Puri administration in a tweet said that 5569 swab samples were sent for test and 12 among them were found infected.
All confirmed cases have been shifted to dedicated COVID hospital. Contact tracing and containment of areas have been done, the post said.
Only those who have tested negative for COVID-19 are being allowed to participate in Bahuda Yatra and other rituals in accordance with the directive of the Supreme Court, it added.
