Cuttack: As many as 145 persons from different places of the city tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.
Of the new cases, 28 were detected in institutional quarantine centres, 48 in home quarantines, and 69 were local contacts, according to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).
The positive cases from home quarantines included 14 from CDA, 7 from Mahanadi Vihar and 5 from Chauliaganj. Among the local contact cases, 17 were from CDA, 8 from Mahanadi Vihar and 6 from Bidanasi.
With the day’s addition, the total COVID-19 positive cases in the city have gone up to 11,798. While 9126 patients have recovered, 48 have succumbed to the disease. There are 2624 active cases in the city at present.
