Keonjhar: Fifteen persons sustained critical injuries when a Bhubaneswar-bound bus in which they were travelling overturned after being hit by a truck at Godabhanga ghat under Anandpur block of Odisha’s Keonjhar district late on Monday.
According to sources, the accident took place around 1.30 am when the ill-fated bus was en route to capital city from Jamda in Mayurbhanj. The driver lost control and the bus skidded off the road, and overturned after a rice-laden truck rammed into it.
While injured have been admitted to Anandpur hospital for treatment, police have initiated an investigation into the mishap.
