Bhubaneswar: The number of COVID-19 recovered cases neared 35,000 as 1785 more patients recovered from the disease and were being discharged on Tuesday.
Of the recovered cases on the day, maximum 404 were reported from Ganjam, followed by 263 from Khurdha, 126 from Cuttack, 126 from Sambalpur and 101 from Keonjhar, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, Malkangiri district had 91 recovered cases, Kandhamal 84, Rayagada 81, Gajapati 80, Dhenkanal 60, Mayurbhanj 50, Jajpur 49, Kalahandi 48, Balasore 32, Nayagarh 31, Sundargarh 30, Bhadrak 28, Kendrapada 24, Puri 22, Baragarh 10 and Nuapada 10.
The recovered cases from other districts in the state on the day are as follow:
8 from Nabarangpur
7 each from Jagatsinghpur & Koraput
5 from Balangir
4 from Boudh
3 from Jharsuguda
1 from Deogarh.
With today’s count, the total COVID-19 recovered cases in Odisha have gone up to 34,805 while the tally of positive cases touched 48,796 with 1341 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
