19-Day-Old Baby, 3-Month-Old Boy, 9-Year-Old Among Fresh COVID Deaths In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll in Odisha climbed to 8,775 on Tuesday with 21 more deaths confirmed by the state Health Department.

The state reported 20 COVID-19 fatalities on Monday.

Among the fatalities are a 19-day-old baby from Balasore district, a 3-month-old boy and 9-year-old boy from Sundargarh district.

Following are the details of the fatalities:

* A 42-year-old man from Balasore district who was also suffering from Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy and acute chronic kidney disease.

* A 19-day-old baby boy from Balasore district.

* A 32-year-old man from Bhadrak district.

* A 45-year-old woman from Cuttack district who was also suffering from hypertension.

* A 63-year-old man from Cuttack district.

* A 28-year-old man from Dhenkanal district who was also suffering from chronic kidney disease, hypertension.

* A 23-year-old woman from Ganjam district who was also suffering from Sickle Cell disease.

* A 62-year-old man from Jagatsinghpur district who was also suffering from diabetes mellitus and hypertension.

* A 67-year-old man from Jajpur district who was also suffering from coronary artery disease.

* A 72-year-old man from Jajpur district who was also suffering from diabetes mellitus, cerebro vascular accident and motor neuron disease.

* A 55-year-old man from Jajpur district who was also suffering from diabetes mellitus, cerebro vascular accident and chronic kidney disease.

* A 75-year-old man from Khurda district who was also suffering from benign prostatic hyperplasia and dilated cardiomyopathy.

* A 70-year-old man from Keonjhar district.

* A 65-year-old woman from Kendrapara district who was also suffering from diabetes mellitus.

* A 75-year-old woman from Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from hypertensive cardiomyopathy.

* A 7-year-old woman from Mayurbhanj district.

* A 70-year-old man from Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from diabetes mellitus, hypertension and chronic kidney disease.

* A 60-year-old woman from Nuapada district.

* A 80-year-old woman from Puri district who was also suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

* A 3-month-old boy from Sundargarh district.

* A 9-year-old boy from Sundargarh district.

Odisha reported 147 COVID deaths in January.
