Baragarh: At least 19 passengers were injured after a bus overturned near Kusanpuri in Barpali in Odisha’s Bargarh district late on Thursday.
According to sources, the accident took place when the bus hit a divider while en route to Koraput’s Damanjodi from Sambalpur. The injured were rescued and admitted to district headquarters hospital.
While police have launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident, the passengers claimed that the driver, who fled the spot, was drunk.
