The marriage rituals of the two boys were conducted at Gangenahalli village’s Krishnarajpet taluka in Mandya district.
Several parts of the state have not received much rainfall this year. Hence, the people are following strange old traditions and rituals to please rain gods so that he can address the issue urgently.
According to some of the locals, the two boys, dressed in traditional attire, participated in a marriage ceremony as bride and groom.
