Bhubaneswar: Two students reportedly went missing from a private school in Sundarpur area under Chandaka police limits in Odisha capital on Tuesday.
The two missing students have been identified as Prithviraj Pradhan of Kunjimahal village and Sonu Kumar of Bharatpur area. Both are aged 15 and studying in Class X.
According to sources, the auto-rickshaw diver, who picks them from school, found them missing and alerted the parents. The duo had reportedly come out of the school to buy biscuits and had been missing since then. The family members then launched a frantic search for them in the nearby forested areas. Unable to trace them, they lodged a missing complaint with Chandaka police late last night.
A team of Chandaka police has visited the school and questioned the officials. The CCTV cameras installed near the school are also being examined.
The family members fear that the two students might have been abducted.
