The movement of trains, buses and trucks will also be paralysed, and shops and business establishments closed.
However, educational institutions and emergency services like hospitals will not be affected.
As a precaution, however, Utkal University and Rama Devi Women’s University in Bhubaneswar have postponed examinations scheduled on March 28 and 29. The new dates of the examinations will be announced later.
