Keonjhar: Two persons were killed and as many critically injured in a collision between a pickup van and a motorcycle in Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Wednesday.
The accident took place near the Mandua bridge under Keonjhar Town Police Station limits, sources said.
While the driver of the pickup van and the bike rider died in the mishap, two others have been admitted to hospital for treatment. Their condition was stated to be critical.
The pickup van reportedly fell 20 feet down off the bridge after colliding with the two-wheeler. The bike rider, identified as Aniket Pati, was rushed to the hospital. However, he reportedly died during treatment.
After getting information, police personnel reached the spot and launched an investigation.
