Sundargarh: Two persons were killed in a collision between a car and a truck in Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Wednesday.
As per reports, Rikas Nayak of Kulba village and Birendra Mahanandia of Telendihi were going in the car when the truck coming from opposite direction collided with them at Barhakhai under Lefripada police station in the afternoon. Both of them died on the spot while the truck driver fled.
On being informed by the locals, the police went to the accident spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem. They have registered a case and started investigation. They have also launched a search for the absconding truck driver.
