New Delhi: Several trains were delayed due to obstructed visibility as dense fog engulfed Delhi and its nearby areas on Thursday amid the prevailing cold wave conditions in North India.
“26 trains running late in Delhi area due to fog,” the Indian Railway said in a statement.
The Delhi-bound trains were delayed by one to six hours due to fog.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD) the national capital will continue to reel under foggy conditions for the next two days. Cold wave conditions are likely to persist for the next 2-3 days in Delhi and nearby region.
