New Delhi: A total of 1.45 lakh passengers will board trains on June 1, when the Railways begin operations of 200 special trains.

The Ralways also informed that around 26 lakh passengers have booked reservations for travel between June 1 and 30 through Advance Reservation Period (ARP).

These trains are in addition to the Shramik Specials and 30 AC Specials which are being run since May 12.

As per Home Ministry guidelines being followed throughout the lockdown period, all travellers will be screened and only asymptomatic passengers allowed to board trains.

Since it’s a time-consuming process, passengers will have to reach their respective stations at least 90 minutes before departure.

Only those with confirmed or RAC tickets will be allowed to enter the station premises and board trains.
