Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday released the list of holidays for its employees in 2025.
The Revenue and Disaster Management department, in a notification, said the state government offices as well as the Revenue and Magisterial Courts (Executive) will remain closed on these festive and commemorative occasions. The government employees will get a total of 26 holidays and 8 optional holidays next year.

The government employees can avail of one of these holidays, regardless of their religious affiliation, with prior approval. Festivals falling on Sundays or 2nd and 4th Saturdays have not been specifically declared as official holidays, it added.
