New Delhi: An earthquake of 3.9 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Sonbhadra in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday.
According to National Centre For Seismology (NCS), tremors were felt in the entire district after the earthquake struck the UP area at 3:49 pm with its epicenter at Sonbhadra.
While the local authorities are assessing the damage caused due to the earthquake, there are no reports of casualties and major losses as of now, Times of India reported.
