Lahore: A bomb blast rocked a busy shopping market here killing three people and injuring 28 late on Thursday, the cops said.
“Initial investigations show that it was a time-controlled device on a motorbike which was the cause of the blast,” Lahore police spokesman, Rana Arif, was quoted as saying by news agency AFP.
The blast happened at the Paan Mandi in Lahore’s famous Anarkali market that shattered windows of nearby shops and buildings. Here Indian commodities are sold.
While seeking a report from the Punjab government, Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the blast and urged authorities to provide the best medical facilities to the injured.
