Puri: Three tourists were swept away by strong water currents while taking bath in the sea near the Light House beach in Odisha’s Puri on Thursday evening.
While Rajesh Kumar Singh (22) of Bhadrak and Omm Prakash Yadav (22) of Angul were rescued by the lifeguards, the other, identified as Saheed Anwar, is still missing, sources said.
The rescued tourists, who are stated to be critical, have been admitted to the Puri district headquarters hospital. Efforts are on trace Anwar.
