Keonjhar: At least five people were killed in a road mishap involving multiple vehicles in Champua area of Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Wednesday night.
As per preliminary information, the accident involving a car and two trucks took place at Rimuli bypass under the jurisdiction of Champua Police station of the district.
While moving on the bypass, the car reportedly carrying five persons dashed against a truck from the rear. Subsequently, another truck which was behind it rammed into the car, killing all the occupants in the vehicle.
On being informed, police and fire services personnel have reached the spot for rescue operation.
