Berhampur: Never lose hope, they say and 51-year-old Sarang Badamundi believed in this adage. Badamundi of Odisha’s Gajapati district cleared the matric examination in his 13th attempt.
A resident of Subalada village under R Udayagiri block, he managed to secure a E Grade by scoring 165 out of 500 marks.
Badamundi, who earns his living by farming, said he was trying to clear Matriculation since 2009 and laboured hard for the same.
His only son is pursuing B Ed from a college in Berhampur.
