Dhenkanal: As many as 70 passengers suffered minor injuries when the bus in which they were travelling overturned after being hit by another bus at Katumunda under Parjang police limits in Dhenkanal district late on Friday.
Those injured were rescued by police and admitted to different hospitals in Parjang and Talcher for treatment.
The bus was heading towards Rourkela from Bhubaneswar when the mishap took place.
The ill-fated bus was parked by its driver at Katumunda Chhak when a Bhubaneswar-bound night coach rammed into the vehicle from the rear following which it turned turtle, eyewitnesses said.
They alleged that the accident occurred either due to poor driving or the driver suffered from drowsiness.
The bus was badly damaged in the accident.
