Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw 149 more COVID-19 patients getting cured of the infection, taking the recovery tally to 5502.
According to Health Department sources, the highest of 46 recoveries were reported from Ganjam, 24 from Khurda, 14 from Mayurbhanj, 13 from Cuttack, 6 each from Kalahandi and Kendrapada, 5 from Rayagada, 4 each from Angul, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh, 3 each from Balangir, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Puri, 2 each from Balasore, Jagatsinghpur and Nayagarh and 1 each from Baragarh and Koraput.
With 7545 positive cases reported so far in the state, the recovery rate touched 73 per cent with these 149 patients being discharged from hospitals. The virus has so far claimed 27 lives.
