Bhubaneswar: Dr G S S Mohapatra was awarded as best gynaecologist and laparoscopic surgeon of eastern India by Primetime Media at New Delhi recently, said a press release said.
Mohapatra is a senior obstetrician and gynaecological endoscopic surgeon with about 15 years of experience.
He received the award in the presence of dignitaries like BJP national spokesperson Dr G V L Narsimha Rao, Rajya Sabha member and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh and renowned oncologist Dr J K Singh.
Mohapatra did his advanced fellowship in laparoscopy from Germany and France. He is currently working as a senior consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology at AMRI Hospital here.
