Bhubaneswar: At least 91 Block Development Officers (BDO) of the Odisha government are facing disciplinary proceedings, the state Assembly was informed on Tuesday.
This information was given by Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Minister Rabi Narayan Naik while answering a question by Salipur MLA Prasanta Behera in the House.
The Minister said that disciplinary proceedings are pending against as many as 91 BDOs.
The government is taking appropriate steps for completion of the proceedings pending against these officers, he added.
