Bhubaneswar: After 23 per cent fall in daily caseload on Sunday, Odisha saw a marginal rise in infections with 8,914 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 8015 cases the previous day after the biggest-ever spike of 10413 on Saturday.
According to the I & PR Department, 5081 are quarantine and 3833 local contact cases.
Khurda recorded the highest of 1,258 cases, followed by Sundargarh (592), Cuttack (587), Puri (530), and Sambalpur (520).
