Bhubaneswar: With the night curfew for the festive season set to begin from October 11 in the twin city of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, Police Commissioner has requested people to adhere to the enforcement strictly.
Police Commissioner Soumendra Priyadarshi said, “As the night curfew, which will be effective till October 20, is for checking the transmission of coronavirus, people are requested to follow the regulations strictly.”
There will be no movement of public from 8 pm to 5 am, during this period, he added.
On the other hand, police has mounted surveillance on habitual offenders as a preventive measure to check law and order ahead of the festive season, he added.
