Bhubaneswar: The first-phase of admission for NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test)-qualified students into the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) streams began in Odisha on Saturday.
The first phase of admission will continue till July 10.
On the first day, the provisional admission for the SCB Medical College and Hospital is underway at the office of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) in Bhubaneswar.
Out of a total of 1,219 state quota seats, provisional seat allotment has been made for 1,164 students in the first phase.
