Cuttack: Well-known lawyer of Orissa High Court Bibhu Prasad Tripathy has been elected to the Odisha State Bar Council for second time.
Dedicating his victory to self-righteous advocates of the state, Tripathy said he would put in his best efforts for setting up an advocate academy for improvement of their professional skill, increasing the welfare fund for the lawyers and providing life insurance to them.
Tripathy has own accolades from the legal fraternity for raising the issue of “one bar, one vote” in Odisha Bar Council on different occasions.
Born in Puri town, he completed his education from Delhi University before pursuing legal studies at Law University at Bengaluru and in Singapore.
