Mumbai: The ‘Manikarnika’ actress Kangana Ranaut on Monday took to her Twitter handle to announce that she was leaving Mumbai after being terrorized.
“With a heavy heart leaving Mumbai, the way I was terrorised all these days constant attacks and abuses hurled at me attempts to break my house after my workplace, alert security with lethal weapons around me, must say my analogy about POK was bang on,” wrote Kangana.
Kangana was with her family members at her hometown in Himachal during the lockdown period. She flew down to Mumbai on September 9, only to witness her Pali Hill office being demolished by the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The actress alleged that the BMC demolished her office because she got involved in a war of words with the Maharashtra government, and the demolition was politically motivated.
“जब रक्षक ही भक्षक होने का एलान कर रहे हैं धड़ियाल बन लोकतंत्र का चीरहरण कर रहे हैं, मुझे कमज़ोर समझ कर बहुत बड़ी भूल कर रहे हैं! एक महिला को डरा कर उसे नीचा दिखाकर, अपनी इमेज को धूल कर रहे हैं!!,” the actress posted in Hindi.
After demolishing the illegal extensions of Kangana’s office, the BMC was reportedly planning to demolish her home too.
Post Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, Kangana has been calling out the ill-treatment meted out to the outsiders in the film industry.
She slammed the industry for running the drug cartel and being dominated by movie mafias, and also got involved in an ugly spat with Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut.
