Bhubaneswar: Four more students of Utkal University in the Odisha capital have tested positive for COVID-19.
This comes a day after a student of the Sociology Department was found infected.
According to sources, the new patients are from the Chemistry (2), MCA (1)and Economics (1) departments. They have been admitted to the Capital Hospital here. Two among them are inmates of Gopabandhu Boys Hostel.
Some students who led the recent agitation against the closure of hotels in the varsity could also have been infected, the sources added.
The university, however, is yet to reschedule/postpone the mid-semester examinations.
