Air Force To The Rescue After Devotee Suffers Heart Attack At Ayodhya Ram Temple Ceremony

Ayodhya: Indian Air Force’s (IAF) rapid response team rescued a devotee who suffered heart attack while attending the Pran Pratishtha event at Ram temple here on Monday.

As 65-year-old Ramkrishna Srivastava collapsed inside the temple complex, a team of mobile hospital BHISHM Cube evacuated him within a minute and provided on-site treatment, reported PTI.

Led by Wing Commander Manish Gupta, the IAF team promptly acted during the critical golden hour — the first hour following a traumatic injury or medical event which is crucial for successful emergency treatment.

On initial assessment, it was found that Srivastava’s blood pressure had shot up to a dangerously high level of 210/170, a statement said.

Once the rapid response team provided preliminary treatment at the site, the patient’s condition stabilised and he was taken to the civil hospital for further observation and specialised care, the statement added.

Two BHISHM Cube mobile hospitals, under Arogya Maitri Disaster Management project, were deployed in Ayodhya as part of medical readiness and response capabilities for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, according to the Union Ministry of Information & Broadcasting on Sunday.

These mobile hospitals are equipped with innovative tools designed to enhance disaster response and medical support during emergencies.
