Bhubaneswar: Host Odisha won five out of six titles and shared the remaining one in the AITA-OTA Championship Series (CS) U14 & U16 Tennis Tournament, organised by Odisha Tennis Association (OTA) with the support of the Department of Sports & Youth Services (DSYS), Government of Odisha, at Kalinga Stadium Tennis Complex from August 26-30, 2024.
Odisha duo, Aahaan Mishra and Shazfa Sk clinched a triple crown each in boys and girls events respectively. A total of 75 young tennis players from 12 states participated in the five-day tournament. The champion and runners-up in each event earned 25 and 20 AITA ranking points respectively.
OTA president Asit Tripathy and joint-secretary Sanjeeb Panda presented the trophies to the title winners and runners-up. OTA treasurer Satyajit Mohanty, administrative officer Sambit Pattanaik and tournament referee Jatin Batsya were present at the closing ceremony.

Boys U14 Singles: Aahaan Mishra (Odisha) beat Aarav Patel (Maharashtra) 6-1, 6-1.
Boys U16 Singles: Aahaan Mishra (Odisha) beat Aditya Bikram Acharya (Odisha) 6-0, 6-1.
Boys U16 Doubles: Aahaan Mishra & Sutavya Karmakar (both Odisha) beat Aditya Bikram Acharya & Aniket Sahoo (both Odisha) 4-6, 6-3, (10-8).
Girls U14 Singles: Shazfa Sk (Odisha) beat Zara Humyrah Haider (West Bengal) 7-6(5), 6-2.
Girls U16 Singles: Shazfa Sk (Odisha) beat Sanrachana Das (Odisha) 6-3, 6-0.
Girls U16 Doubles: Shazfa Sk (Odisha) & Prerana Santra (WB) beat Suhani Bhasin (TN) & Sudiksha Banerjee (WB) 6-1, 6-3.
