Bhubaneswar: Ahead of General Elections in 2024, Congress has made major changes in organisational posts by appointing new in-charge of some states including Odisha.
In a notification on Saturday, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) released the names of new in-charge of the states.
As per the list, signed by party’s general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal, the present Odisha in-charge of the Congress, A Chellakumar, has been replaced by Dr Ajoy Kumar.
Kumar has also been given the additional charge of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Chellakumar has been assigned the responsibility of Meghalaya, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.
In Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi has been replaced by Avinash Pandey. Sachin Pilot has been appointed as in-charge of Chhattisgarh, Mohan Prakash of Bihar and Sukhjinder Singh Randhwa of Rajasthan, according to the notification.
