Keonjhar: The passengers of a bus escaped from a mishap due to alertness of the driver in the district on Tuesday.
According to sources, while the bus was on the way to Khiching from Bhadrak, the driver saw smoke coming out of the engine near Hatadihi Tahasil Chhak. He stopped the bus and told the passengers to get down. Soon after all the passengers came out, fire started to spread in the bus.
On being informed, Fire personnel rushed to the spot and doused the fire. No physical injury to anybody was reported in the incident.
