Keonjhar: ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) on Friday launched a Basic Life Support Ambulance service at Dubuna in Odisha’s Keonjhar to enhance healthcare services for nearby villages and communities.
Jaiwardhan Paroha, Plant Head (Beneficiation Plant), Dubuna, flagged off the new ambulance in the presence of other senior executives of AM/NS India.
The ambulance service will help in transporting critical patients from surrounding villages to nearest hospitals for timely treatment. The ambulance will be available round the clock and free of cost.
AM/NS India, which has been serving the local community and providing best of healthcare services, will help save precious lives with this initiative.
As part of its CSR initiatives in Keonjhar, AM/NS India also provided access to drinking water to 5,000-plus households, has built community halls, provided scholarship to girl students and empowered local youth through digital skilling centres.
