Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has decided to reopen aganwadi centres from March 28.
Director, ICDS and SW, under the Women and Child Development department, Aravind Agarwal has written to the collectors of all districts in this regard on Wednesday.
The collectors have been asked to make arrangements accordingly and ensure that COVID protocols of social distancing are strictly adhered.
The AWCs will be open from 7.30 to 9.30 am for 25 days a month.
However, for the children who are unable to attend AWCs due to COVID and other reasons, ration under supplementary nutrition programme will be provided at their doorsteps, the letter stated.
