Chennai: Celebrity couples separating after years of marriage is not uncommon these days. What is rare is a separated duo deciding to get back together after months of separation.
It seems Tamil star Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, the eldest daughter of Rajinikanth, are on reconciliation path.
Media reports have suggested Dhanush and Aishwarya are trying their best to make the marriage work again and have put their divorce on hold. Their has been no official statement yet, though.
Dhanush and Aishwaryaa, who got married in 2004, have two sons — Yatra Raja and Linga Raja.
The power couple surprised fans and well-wishers in January this year when they announced they were separating.
“18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate… Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do Respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this. Om Namashivaaya! Spread love, D,” Dhanush had written nine months ago.
