Bhubaneswar: An officer of the Indian Army and his female friend created ruckus at Bharatpur police station in the Odisha capital on Saturday night. At least 3 police personnel sustained minor injuries in the incident, said sources.
The duo were allegedly misbehaved by someone while returning home after dinner last night following which they showed up at the police station, the police said.
When a female sub inspector asked them to file a written complaint, the duo allegedly abused her. Police sources said, the woman engaged in a scuffle with police personnel injuring the later.
The police personnel said the official and his friend were in inebriated condition and liquor bottles were found in their car.
An inquiry on the matter is underway, police sources added.
