Puri: Odia film ‘Ashram’ actors led by Ollywood Mahasweta Ray visited Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri ahead of the movie’s release on September 13.

On the occasion, Ray requested people of Odisha to watch the film which is based on a basic and pragmatic story.
Ray said, “The film revolves around the story of a woman from a noble family, who becomes an IAS officer and in later stage of her life, she devotes herself to the service of elderly and sick.”
Ashram team expects the film carrying a message and meant to create awareness in the society will be well received by the viewers.
“In order to spread awareness among people of sensitive matters, film is a mass medium. We need to have more cinema halls in rural areas to ensure this and also help support our art and artists,” added Ray.
