Bhubaneswar: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has released a list of special occasions when no fee will be charged to the visitors for entry into protected monuments and archeological sites.
In an official order, the Director General, ASI said no fee shall be charged at protected monuments/archeological sites and remains specified in the Second Schedule of the Ancient Monuments and Archeological Sites and Remains Rules, 1959.
In Odisha, the entry fee has been waived at Sun Temple, Konark for one day during Samba Dasami Mela and for two days during Magha Saptami Mela.
Similarly, the visitors do not have to pay entry fee at Raja Rani temple in Bhubaneswar for three days during Raja Rani Music Festival and at Mukteswar temple in Bhubaneswar for two days during Mukteswar Dance Festival.
