Rayagada: Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted an Astadhatu idol from Manikeswari temple near Khedapada in Rayagada on Thursday night.
According to sources, miscreants broken into the temple and decamped with the two and half feet ‘Astadhatu’ idol of the deity.
The theft was discovered early this morning by the temple priest, who informed the police. Investigations are underway.
