Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday barred entry of passenger train and private or public buses other than those carrying personnel on government duty/ police and vehicles on emergency services into Puri district from 9 pm on Tuesday.
The restriction will be in place till 11.30 pm on Thursday for smooth conduct of the Bahuda Yatra (July 1) and Suna Besa (July 2) of Lord Jagannath in Puri amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a notification issued by the office of Special Relief Commissioner said.
