Bhadrak: The Bhadrak district administartion issued a flood alert on Friday morning as Baitarani River crossed the danger mark at Akhuapada and rain continued to lash the river’s catchment areas.
The river was flowing at 17.84 metres as against the red mark of 17.83 metres on Friday.
This has triggered fear of flash flood among people living in the low-lying areas close to the river.
