Kendrapada: With the Jagannath temple in Puri and Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar scheduled to reopen on December 23 and 27 respectively, the Odisha government has decided to reopen the Baladevjew temple in Kendrapada town on January 3.
Announcing this on Wednesday, Kendrapada collector Samarth Verma said the devotees will be allowed to enter the temple as per COVID-19 guidelines.
He further said it has been decided in consultation with the temple trust that not more than 100 devotees will be allowed inside the temple and they will be sent in batches.
The temple management will ensure proper sanitisation of the devotees and the mandatory use of masks, the collector added.
