Bhadrak: A 12-hour bandh called by the Congress paralysed life in Bhadrak town on Thursday.
Vehicular traffic was stalled due to road blockades on NH-16 and several places in the town. Also, trading establishments in the town were closed.
The Congress called the bandh to demand a medical college and hospital and improvement of healthcare facilities in the district.
The party has decided to stage agitations in all panchayats for the fulfillment of its demands.
