New Delhi: A vulture, belonging to an endangered species, was spotted near the Konar Dam in the Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand. It has attracted attention, not because of what it is but due to peculiar markings and a message attached to it.
It has a ring tied to one of its legs with the name of Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka written on it. What is more, a tracking device has also been found with it. The vulture, with distinctive white feathers on its neck, was spotted on Monday by local fishermen who promptly notified forest and police officials, News18 reported.
