San Francisco: Instagram and Messenger are getting updated with a new ‘vanish mode’ in which messages sent disappear as soon as you leave the conversation like Snapchat.
Users will now be alerted if the person they are chatting takes a screenshot.
Messenger already has a disappearing messages feature but it requires setting up a timer.
The vanish mode is now available to Messenger users in the US now and will be rolled out to other countries soon.
